Denise G. Easton<\/span>Co-Founder & Managing Partner<\/span><\/div><\/div>
Denise Easton is a consultant and entrepreneur recognized for applying complexity science principles in business innovation, research, and organization development and management. Focusing on organizational ecosystems as complex adaptive human systems, she enhances clients’ ability to analyze, design, and inform innovation practices to drive transformative change.<\/p>\n

As co-founder and managing partner of Awareful Systems Group, Denise leads strategic initiatives across public and private sectors, uniting consultants, creators, technologists, and researchers dedicated to complexity-driven models and applications in diverse ecosystems.<\/p>\n

Denise is a dedicated entrepreneur who has both founded several companies, including Adapt Knowledge and serves as a strategic advisor for early-stage companies, offering valuable insights and advice, guiding strategic decisions, participating in board meetings, and assisting in developing key partnerships. She is committed to encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to keep her clients and partnerships at the forefront of their industries.<\/p>\n

She currently serves as President of Plexus Institute a research-based professional organization focused on expanding interdisciplinary approaches to understanding human systems and ecosystem development.<\/div>

Barb Siegel<\/span>Co-Creator & Partner <\/span><\/div><\/div>
Barb Siegel is a multifaceted professional, embodying the roles of artist, facilitator and researcher of human capacity and experience in complex adaptive ecosystems. Barb possesses the unique ability to crystallize ideas immersive experiences that engage people on multiple levels and various perspectives – inside, outside, and evolving through time.<\/p>\n

As a co-creator at Awareful Systems Group, Barb brings her rich tapestry of skills to the table. She assists both individuals and organizations in weaving Complexity Thinking and Confluent Communication into the fabric of their operations. Her innate capacity to \u201clisten to the human signals in a system\u201d or \u201cengage with what is not fully formed in the system\u201d is strikingly evident in the tailored solutions and guidance she offers to her clients.<\/p>\n

Through her diverse practice, she remains anchored by a profound, guiding question: \u201cWhat do I learn from this medium, how do I know I have learned what I can from this medium (right now), and what happens with what I have learned when I change mediums?\u201d This inquiry helps shape her dynamic approach to ecosystem development that creates spaces where innovation and human experience intersect.<\/div>

Lawrence (Larry) Solow<\/span>ASG Consultant<\/span><\/div><\/div>
Lawrence (Larry) Solow blends his change management, agile, project management, and continuous improvement certifications, skills, and experience to help teams and organizations shift their patterns of thought and behavior. Larry has functioned in internal change leadership roles for a variety of Fortune 500 organizations, including Cigna, Harley-Davidson and AlliedSignal. He has also served as an external consultant for a wide variety of profit and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Solow earned a Masters Degree in Organizational Communication from Temple University. He has co-authored two books: \u201cComplexity Works: Creating Pattern-Based Change in Teams and Organizations\u201d with Denise Easton and \u201cWhat Works for GE May Not Work for You: Using Human Systems Dynamics to Build a Culture of Process Improvement\u201d with Brenda Fake.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Alistair M. Brett<\/span>Co-Founding Partner (In Memoria - 1943 - 2022)<\/span><\/div><\/div>
Alistair M. Brett was an international consultant specializing in science and technology commercialization with universities and research centers. Alistair focused on understanding innovation ecosystems as complex adaptive systems expands the range of information and data available to clients when analyzing, designing, and informing innovation practices in any ecosystem. Alistair served as a senior consultant to The World Bank.<\/p>\n

Alistair’s work and research led to his role as the co-founder of the Center for Technology Commercialization and the Center’s graduate technology management degree programs at the Academy of National Economy in Moscow, Russia. Additionally, he spent over 20 years in higher education administration. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of London, and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland), and Drexel University (USA).<\/div><\/div><\/div>
